2008 Pics

Well, the cards have been sent out.  Some of these made it.  Every November, we do a family shoot.  I make a photo collage for the wall, a sort of Year in Review.

The day we took these shots was the first day of deciding to grow out Tatum's bangs.  The awkward in-between phase is hard to get through, but if you keep going, you get what you need, right?

Kind of fits my mood right now.

Pretty soon, they'll be too heavy for this one.  You'd think we would have learned our lesson.

Talk about low maintenance.

W still don't actually move until next Thursday.  We're eager to make the transition, and excited to fill it up with window coverings, photos, furniture, and NOISE!

Wordless Wednesday

(Photos compliments of my Mom, Trish.  The next day her camera got destroyed in the "trunk" of her hard-top convertible.  R.I.P. Mr. Nikon.  Your memory (card that is) lives on.)

Twins Squared

My handsome twin brothers are in town from Colorado to celebrate my Dad's birthday.  Our family has always been a bit silly, but as years go by, and distance separates us, it makes get-togethers all the more silly.

Uncle Anthony "Uncle Ant"

Dad, just like I remember him .... all cozy on the couch.

Family in town is always a good excuse to post lots of pictures, and not really say much.

Today is officially "Picture Day."  And if you know my Mom, you know you'd better smile and pretend we're not a crazy family.  So I'd better go iron some outfits and get my smile on....

Addendum

(This post is an addendum to my previous anniversary post.)

Okay, I was avoiding answering the question, but if you're not so good at math it will be okay.

How many years, you ask?  Four

Hmmm....

And how old are those twins again?  Three and a half.

Yup.  14 weeks pregnant, with twins, on my wedding day.  And the stinker of it all was that I couldn't even have a drink to celebrate (don't worry, I've made up for it over the years).  And if you want to complement me and  lie  then clearly you have forgotten THIS.

We're so blessed.  We truly are.

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary Patrick!

I'm proud of our journey.

Let's keep going...

Remember how cool our cake was?

Love you honey.
