Logic

Me:  In a teacher-y sing-song-y-Mommy-voice:  What do you want to be when you grow up Tatum?

Tater:  A doctor.  A kid's doctor.

Me (Annoying Voice):  Oooooh.  A Pedia-tri-cian!  Wow!
And Chase what do you want to be honey?

Chase:  A Daddy.

Me:  Awwww.  How sweet.  And how many kids do you want?

Chase:  None.

I wish I had talked to Chase about that idea sooner. It might have saved me from the 2:00 wakeup calls to know you could be a parent without actually having any kids.

Well I guess you can be happy he didn't say like 20. You'd be a mighty busy Gran.

That's too cute. It reminds me of a little girl that was in my son (now 21)'s junior kindergarten class. I was helping out this one day, and the teacher looked around the circle of children asking what they wanted to be when they grew up. One by one, we heard typical answers such as "firefighter, doctor, a ninja turtle (the were popular then!) a Mommy", etc. This one adorable little girl named Raynebeau stood up and very mater-of-factly announced "When I grow up, I'm going to be a woman." Who could argue with that?

How precious!

Seems he has it down a lot earlier than my daughter. She always wanted to be a mommy until recently I asked her how many kids she wanted (she is 19 now).

NONE!!

Well, he can hang out with my son then since my son declared a while ago he was going to "dopt" 10 kids from Korea.
