I dropped my phone once today in the parking lot outside of school. Thanks to the (new) case, it was just fine. Whew!
Then, I dropped it again on the hardwood floors at Patrick's while I was picking up the kids. This time, I wasn't so lucky. Dead. Nothin'.
Then, I brought it home to try and give it some love, and I dropped it again on the tile floor.
Now...it's so not responding. I tried CPR. I tried that AED thingie that you see on walls in public places. I tried putting it on my pillow and singing softly. All to no avail.
Shit.
I want my phone.
I neeeeeed my phone.
I hear it ringing.
I hear that cute little sound when I get a text.
But the damn screen won't light up.
So, until I get to the Apple store (Read: I'm going after school tomorrow to the Apple store), I think I'm out of luck.
Fortunately, I still have my laptop to keep me company. How is it that I went all the way through college without a cellphone? And now? I'm hyperventilating and making out with my computer for some techno-love.
Is there a such thing as iPhone armor?
Or should I just get some really great super glue?
Shit.
Come back to me my love...

You are SOOOO addicted!
(But, I completely understand and feel lost w/o my phone too... although I only have a lowly EnV). You'll be okay...
clearly, by now, you've gone to cheri's to make out with hers. otherwise, you would be dead. of course.
Butterfingers!
Shoot. Sorry about the death of your loved one. Maybe if you apologize for the dropsies over and over???
You have to be lost. I hope you get it fixed soon...just try not to drop the new one.
I could totally live without my cell phone. Really. Take away my laptop, though? I will go into convulsions.
I hope you're able to get an instant fix!
Oh, that stinks! I don't know about iPhones (I'm Verizon...) but I know I would miss my phone. Period.
It is pathetic how in love with my cell phone I am. If it were to die, I would surely shed at least one real tear. And my macbook... There is a whole lotta love there too. Im a nerd.
Mike got some plastic sheet he put over it--and he drops his phone all the time. I think he got it at Best Buy.
okay...so it's been 2 days...did you get this all cleared up? are you back to the "land of the living" with a new phone?
might I suggest:
*making a phone case of bubble wrap or **getting a very cool strap from which you can hang the new phone...usually from around the neck (or so I"ve seen here)..you can find some very cool long straps, you know...until this whole 'butter fingers' phase of your life is over.
My beloved just died too. I saw your text but can't do anything about it. I can't wait to move on and find a new love to keep me warm at night and to gossip with you.
Have you gotten a new lover? Or did they fix your old lover? I'm dying to know.
Is this why you haven't been calling me or texting me?
Can I recommend you get iPhone insurance - or is that too obvious ;)
I feel sorry for your phone that fell down several times. It would be better not to fix it by yourself and call for help from an authorized repair group. There are countless protective accessories available in the market, I’m sure you’ve seen some. Preventing our devices is much more affordable than buying for spare parts or have them undergo repair services.
