I am a firm believer those things will be there tomorrow, kids will be little just once. That said, we do take breaks every couple of hours and everyone puts three things away. Keeps the overall pickup at the end of the night to a minimum.
These are some great shots - they capture the moment perfectly. I think you have your priorities in order. The house stuff can wait! Time such as these far out weigh having a clean and tidy house - I have oh about 15 more years until then. The clean house that is! he he he
Who cares about chores! Painting a birdhouse is way, way more important.
P.S. I moved up the drawing for the free t-shirt from May 31st to April 30th. I don't know what the heck I was thinking when I wrote May 31st. :-) You are entered too.
Love those days--and they'll never forget! I am going to copy the naked painting idea for my little guy--he wears daddy's old button downs backward but still manages to get his clothes covered :)
I want to post this on my fridge. You are so very right! Though, I can't help but think that if they were my kids there would have been more paint on their bodies than on the birdhouse. =)
Beautiful ♥ pics Jamie = of course all those boring jobs will and can wait ... what gems your children are and what fun you look like you had. The kids won't remember how clean the house was but but they will remember how much fun mum is ...
I've always said I'd rather regret not doing housework (or being a working mom) than regret not being there and spending time with my kids. You did the right thing-you can tell by the smiles on their faces. :)

Oh those other things will wait...seize the day with the kiddos. I'm so glad you had a fabulous MOnday:)
Good for you! There will always be days of things that "need" done. But, they will only be 3 for such a short time. Soak in every minute!
Wait a beautiful post and great reminder of what is really important.
LOVE this. Love you. Love the kids.
Some times it's just fun to play all day.......
And I am backing you up on that, because we did just the same today!

Cute kids and acrylic paint--what a great way to pass the day! I bet the clean-up bath was lots of fun too.
Awesome! That looks like so much fun. I say forget everything else!
Awesome pictures! Awesome activity!
What is a chore? Heaven knows that I know not!
There are so many more important things than cleaning
eventually though it is good to get done
They look they're having a ton of fun, and I love the pic of your son with the paint on his nose. Too cute!
That put a great big smile on my face! :)
Thanks for a great post.
What a great post! I love the pictures of your happy children - what a good day!
Take care - Kellan

Have a great Tuesday! =)
Oh yes. Those things will wait! :)
I've been saying that every day for almost two years now. No regrets, though, just a dirty house!
how fun is that! I always say my kids will come first and the chores second.. I'd rather my house look lived in and a place of love than a show place

Good for you!
I am not nearly as accepting of undone chores. Of course, that doesn't mean I do them, just that I don't like that I don't do them.
