See this? Can you guess what kind of fun I had spending $67 yesterday?
Let's take a quiz:
Was it:
a) a cute little swimsuit to gear up for Spring?
b) a hot new top to wear out to Bossy's Road Trip this Monday?
c) a couple of adorable little pair of shoes for some 3 year-old-toes?
d) a pair of smokin' hot jeans on which I got a great deal?
e) F*ing Gas to fuel the minivan?
I so wish I could say it was anything a-d. It's getting rather ridiculous wouldn't you say? Why couldn't I have had the foresight to buy a hybrid, a Smart Car, a Mini Cooper, or transportation on pedals?
Okay, gotta go drive to the mailbox now. This is California folks.

Where is the smart mini van? I'm thinking of just buying myself a couple of smart cars and hitching them together train style to fit my whole family. Sadly I knew exactly what it was you had bought because I see way too many of those receipts.
I think I spend 3 smoking hot jeans worth in gas every 2 weeks.
Ho-ly cow! I thought it was killing me to put in $50 in my little wagon!
I just want to cry looking at that.
Maybe I could scare you and show you our grocery bill AND gas bill...both are almost double what they were a year ago :0
I JUST had that very same experience this morning...... OUCH, it HURTS!
My husband and I are both driving to Vista/San Marcos (separately of course--the hours don't work) 5 days a week. We are trying desparately not to do the math.
I was so hoping it was a cute little swimsuit, but Nooooo!
Have a good evening Jamie - see you later - Kellan
YIKES!! Gas prices SUCK. I'm with you...I'd much rather spend my moola on happy Spring stuff.
Congrats on all your new well-deserved bling! You go girl!
So you don't even want to know how much it costs to fuel my Expedition. I'm probably going to have to sell one of the brats soon.
Ok, well, I won't rant too much, but gas in every other non-oil-producing country in the world has been way more expensive than it is here. Way more. For a long time.
In oil-producing countries, like Venezuela, gas is 12 cents a gallon. If we lived in Kuwait City gas would be 68 cents, in Cairo it's only 59 cents, in Saudi Arabia, it's 92 cents per gallon. But I wouldn't want to live in any of these places.
I am just saying it's a small price to pay when we get to live here. Right?
I know it's a shock at the pump, but if we drive smaller cars and a few less miles, you can probably live with the prices, all things considered...
Unless you are in a low income family. That makes me want to cry.
You are going to meet Bossy?
Awwww....
Will you take pictures and post all about it?
Thank goodness I can't drive.
Maybe I should start putting "gas" money in savings. I would be able to do a lot of fun stuff.
Ugh! Gas and Groceries! It never ends!!!
So sick of gas!!!
It is disgusting that gas is so high. RIDICULOUS!
I just want to make my own gas.
Wait...
OKay ... I'm at work and just literally laughed out loud at your post!!
LOVE it! Well, I hate it but it cracked me up!
Happy Friday!
Yep...pretty crazy! I'm so glad Tar-jay is only 1.5 miles from my house :)
This post is FABULOUS! current events, multiple choice, fincances... the only thing missing is a big prize for the winner!
And that gas price is uber cheap for CA!! Wow! Our gas prices are almost that much.
This is exactly why we will be getting rid of the 13 year old gas-guzzling mini-van and moving on down to a Camry this summer :)
I thought of you when I filled up Hubby's car on Sunday - $45 for the car that used to cost less than $20! Are you freaking kidding me??!
