Sorry Ladies, He's Taken

For as long as I've known my husband, he has traveled for work.  In the early days of courting me, he would often come home with goodies he picked up along his travels.  A guy who can shop for his woman is pretty hard to beat.

Then, the kids came along.  The shopping breaks went on.  His good excuse is that he tries to fly home sooner to see the family, so there's been no time for shopping.  Okay, okay.  I guess I'll buy that.

So when a recent snaffoo in travel arrangements left him stuck in Portland for many extra hours, guess what he did?

Bingo.  And there's no sales tax, so he was extra giddy.

He brought these lovely purchases home for his wife:

3 dresses (which look cuter on, than on the hanger):

A (bumblebee) top
A pair of camouflage bermuda shorts
And he didn't forget the kids...how cute are these?
And my new FAVORITES ...

I'm feeling lucky today.  He'll probably be feeling lucky tonight too.  ;)  So, can you guess where he shopped?

I have no idea where he went, but DAMN did he do a good job! You might want to keep him so that you can rent out his services to other husbands.

I would give that a very big "job well done" to your hubby :)

If he's not available, maybe you could have him give classes to the less clued in men.

WHAT??? You have a husband that knows how to buy clothes and shoes??? Where on earth did you find him and are there more of him out there? (Not for me... but you know, I'm just curious)
=)

I love the bumble bee top!

WOW! I am impressed! Crap, I would have been thrilled with just ONE item. But, all of that! YIPEE!!

Hmm, I am guessing Niketown? Or maybe Kohl's? Only guessing Kohl's cause Anya has those cute girl tennis shoes, and I got them at Kohl's. Notice, I got them, not the hubby who would have NO idea what size she is!

Way to go!!

Patrick bought all of these purchases (and about a dozen for himself) at the Nike Employee Store. We have a friend who works there. It's like a Nike Town, but with better discounts, and no sales tax. GREAT place that I'm itching to go to myself.

Nike owns Hurley, Cole Haan, and a few other retailers so it has a diverse selection.

:)

Who knew?
I saw the Nike symbol on a few things, but I knew not everything was Nike.
You done good!

I am so jealous, and so impressed, on so many levels. He shops better than I do!

All very cute. I guess the decline of the timeliness of air travel is not all bad!

What the hey!!! Whenever T goes anywhere I get one of those, "My husband went to X and all I got was this stupid t-shirt." shirts.

You lucky gal! And, what fashion sense.

Come to think of it. I'm OK with T not buying me clothes. I'll have to write about his Apple Jacks shirt one day . . . that'll explain it all.

The NIKE EMPLOYEES STORE OF COURSE.

I love the stuff he bought too. He really knows your style too. To prove it, try them on and then model them for us!

Very cool!! All are good stuff, but,I'm loving that second dress the most!!

I also have a hubby that does great gifts!! When we were dating, I planned a birthday party for him and he was pretty freaked out that people came AND they brought presents for him!! THEn...when Christmas came around and my family, who had not met him yet, ALL sent presents...well, let's just say that both those experiences cemented in his brain that Amercians (especially us girls!!) do love presents and Debbie is happy when she gets good presents!!! After 14 years, he still can find the best things!!! Now....if he would just help around the house more...:-D
