Say Hello To My Little Friend

So I woke up to a gorgeous mess compliments of my dog.  I'll spare you the details... Let's just say, I dropped the kids off at pre-school and raced to Target as fast as I could before the nastiness had a chance to settle into every fiber of the carpet.

THIS is my new BFF:  The Spot Bot.  I'm hooked.  I may just give up blogging and offer to come watch my little spot robot clean people's carpets.  She's so sleek, and pretty, and, fun to play with, and ... okay, expensive.  But come on, I have two kids and a dog.  This thing will get more workouts than our marriage bed.  (Sorry, honey.)

So I'm having one of those days where Spring Cleaning has kicked in.  I *must* clean the carpets.  And while I'm at it, the toys need re-organizing (again).  And the dishes need to be put away.  The laundry needs putting away (yes, still).  My purse has jelly beans hanging around on the bottom.  My car has Starbucks wrappers stashed in every corner and pocket.  I don't know if I can get it all done.  But I'm starting by closing my laptop, inflating the bouncy house for the kids, and rolling up my sleeves.

My Google Reader is exploding.  I promise to catch up tonight.  Until then, wish me luck.  And if you ever need a nasty spot removed on your carpet, I make house calls.

I need that! If you are volunteering to wash peoples' carpets anyway, could you rush on over here with it? That would be great, thanks. :)

I totally love that too. We have two labs, and seriously, that thing has paid for itself times 5! Not a better purchase out there, well, excpet maybe a new pair of stilettos. Hmmm.

I know, I have to say that I hate it when my real life gets in the way of my blog one! Hoping you get lots accomplished today. :-)

Oh--me too!!! I need to clean--desperately! We have that Green Machine thing . . . it still hasn't found its way out of the box. Oops.

I'm sorry for jinxing you.....

And.... I may just spill some grape juice on my carpet so then you HAVE to come play date at my house....

Thanks for sparing the details. I need the spot cleaned off my stairs from a dog unmentionable. Can you bring it on over?

On second thought, maybe wait until your Dad and brothers leave this weekend. I am sure they will be tracking all sorts of good stuff in my nice freshly cleaned house.

And ummm, are you turning into your carpet cleaning fanatic husband? Just asking.

You are hilarious. Your life sounds like mine! And I broke down and got a steam cleaner for my carpet after potty training kid #2 and have never looked back. Fabulous, sanity saving device that thing is. Sorry to hear about your marriage bed:-)

You seriously do not want to make that offer to someone who has 2 dogs and 2 cats!

PLEASE come to my house. I don't have a dog but I have 4 kids and a husabnd who acts like a kid. When my son spilled milk on the carpet (why he thought milk was ok to take in the living room is beyond me) and when I told him to clean it up he said, "I did. I did this to it" and then he shows me how he rubbed the milk into the carpet with his toes. Thanks a lot, kid.

Ooooh, I'm lovin' your little friend. With 4 kids and 4 dogs in the house I could definitely use one of those. She sounds like a winner.

I love those kind of friends...the best!
House calls? Spot? Well, it is kind of a large spot. I will leave the back door unlocked. Make yourself at home. Just get my carpet clean...please!

Bring that fancy smancy robot down here to Alabama:)

Good luck with all your chores!

if you lived closer to TX, I would totally call.

The people who offered a contract on our house want the carpets professionally cleaned....as well as the house.

OCD is my middle name...the carpets could use it a bit...but the house?? Not a chance!

Do you travel to Iowa? I've always wanted to try one of those super cleaning machines!!!

With four kids, I am coming to the conclusion, carpet does not belong in the house. I'm thinking stained concrete ;)
Have fun with the new toy!

Can I just say that I love how you threw the word "BFF" in there??

I love the term BFF. I want to resurrect the "BFF" in our mom blog world!!

Ok, so you kept the spot cleaner, but that does NOT mean that you can get out of coming to visit me...
love you

I am sure I have plenty of spots, but I can't see them. Yes I believe that is a benifit of being blind. I wouldn't mind it if you came by though.

Hope you are having fun with your family.
