Coming Clean

So, I let the cat out of the bag at school.  I told someone that I had a blog.  Now I can't do any ranting or major complaining.  One is all it takes (right Mr. R?).

So I'll move on.

****************************************

Him:  Lets' go for a ride.  Drive down the alley, this way.

Her:  No.  STOP!  Put your seat belt on.  NOW.

Him:  I did.  You put your seatbelt on.

Her:  Okay.  Let's go.  Drive over there.

  No, there.

Him:  Do you want to drive?

Her:  No.  I want you to drive.

....

Her:  I said, drive that way.

Him:  I am!

Her:  Turn.  Turn!  Hurry.  We're going to crash.

Him:  No we're not.  It's fun.

Her:  Aaauuugghhhh!  STOP!  You're going to crash.

Him:  You should drive.

Her:  No.  It's okay.  You can drive.

....

Her:  You're CRASHing!

Him:  It's okay.  You have your seat belt on.

Welcome to the world of my old married couple:  Boy/Girl Twins.

This is what being a mom and having a family is all about! So silly and fun! I love it!

And that's exactly what they sound like, too! Only it's a lot cuter on kids than old married couples.

Heeheee! This post is so full of energy and I can just imagine you laughing writing this one--I bet you are having fun with your job :)

Aww that's just adorable!

Aren't they just the cutest? I can only imagine the conversations they have.

I would be scared about work stuff, too. I'm thinking if you keep it extremely anonymous, you could share a funny story or two.

I told a few people about my blog and linked to it on facebook. Then I decided that was a bad idea and got rid of the facebook link. Hopefully it will never come back to bite me!!

You can still be wild and opinionated in your comments!

Start a new one just for bitching. Seriously.

Cute story, by the way. I want to eat your kids right up.

The kids are adorable as always.

So does this mean no juicey scoop now? Don't turn into an ordinary momma blog, please!!! Well at least leave some crazy comment. I hope you are enjoying school.

Too funny! Maybe they'll get it all out of their systems now and their future spouses can take them later!

Good you I am not the only one with B/G twins who bicker like an old married couple?!

Is your daughter the boss of her brother like mine is?

CRigg said...

HILARIOUS! sounds like my b/g twins. hannah is the boss of luke about 75% of the time, just like with my and by hubby. :)

I am literally on my kneews thank the good Lord that I was not blessed with twins. My oldest-girl and boy-are 16 months apart and that is close enough. You are a heroine, for sure.

I'm thinking I need another blog, to say what I really want to say some days. My mom reads this one. :o)

I've actually lost sleep a couple of times trying to think of WHO I might offend, and WHO knows about my blog. It's awful. I try to sensor it- but sometimes I forget.

The following quote is BRILLIANT, and I want to use it one day:

""Blogging is narcissistic--and time-consuming. It gives strangers (not to mention the in-laws) ammunition for criticizing our parenting choices. And one day it could really mortify our kids." So why do it? I do it to pacify a restlessness, and to celebrate the adventure. Putting it in type script just helps me remember it. I hope my twins understand one day." -Jamie

Love the cute photos of you and the kids!
Priceless.
Love the "old married couple" conversation too....funny stuff!

Um, yea.
I hate it when someone IRL finds out I have a blog.
It is much eaiser to "vent" when you are a closet blogger.

You are way too freakin hot to be the mom of twins. I'm calling Bullsh*t.

Marlys said...

You don't even look like yourself with the glasses, nose, etc. Seriously.

I just took a pic of my "little" girl wearing the same glasses. Too fun.

That conversation sounds like my kids whenever we get the car cart at the grocery store.
