I think a lot of us are feeling the same thing right about now. Maybe it's the feeling that we should be doing so many other things, maybe it's that it's beginning to become more spring-like outside and we aren't feeling so cooped up. Whatever it is... take your time, enjoy your kids, bloggyland will be here when you are ready to visit again.
I am posting the exact comment on put on laskigal for the sake on time....but:
i use Google Reader. I have a few that I visit pretty much every day. I don't have so many readers that I get too overwhelmed (except on Thur and Sat when I do a Thur 13 or a Photohunt).
I do try to visit each blogger that comments. I like comments, it just seems right,
I know there are times when it is not going to happen. I tend to read blogs after lunch when the kids are napping/doing quiet time or after 8ish when they go to bed.
I do have a "rule" that I can't blog in the AM, until I have done my morning routine (a flylady thing).
For me, blogging is a great outlet, but also have it's place on my priority list.
It's amazing to me when blogs receive 30, 40, 50 comments on each post, because I would imagine that the blog owner has also to be reading and commenting on that many blogs to reciprocate.
I read about 20 blogs a day. Not every one posts each day, but I have 2 sets of blogs under my favorites folders, and it pulls them all up when I am ready to read.
I want to read what is valid and important to me, and I probably have lost readership due to not being able to or willing to reciprocate my time.
I stick with my favorites and can't take on much more....
i'm there with you!! i haven't been around for a while. but i got some time today when Trevor went back to school from being off for Spring break and the girls were happily playing together... and getting along too!! :) but it is way hard. I signed up for blog 365, but am planning on just trying to post 365 times to my blog instead of every. single. day. I just can't do it. With three toddlers, well is a 4 yr old a toddler or pre-schooler?? I guess pre-schooler, but anyway... with a 4 yr old and two 2 yr olds it is hard to be on the computer a bunch. For a while I was addicted to the computer and blogs, well I still am, but have gained some (very little) self control, but before that I'm sad to say that my house and my children were neglected quite a bit. :( It is easy to get sucked in. :) I have been trying to play catch up while they are happy being entertained by hubby right now. :)

I have been in the same place lately, perhaps that is why I was bloggin til 1:00 am. The kids were asleep and my hubby was working.
Hope all is well. Enjoy your family time!

I am new to this whole thing and my kids are older--I often wonder how it would be if my kids were younger. It's good you have a grip on things.
I blog after my son is sleeping. Some weeks I am able to post once a day and other weeks I can only post once a week.
Hope you had a great weekend!

And . . . they come first. Period.
We'll all be here :) And, you are on that LIST of those I regularly visit--just so you know :) And, I'm not going anywhere.
I realized I was on the computer too much when my almost-two-year-old crawled into my lap and physically swatted my hands away from the keyboard.
It's hard with the little ones...I find myself making more short posts so I can still bog semi-regularly but not take too long doing it.

I meant "blog," not "bog."
....or did I? :)
